You’ll develop and implement effective negotiation and sourcing strategies for goods and services within the HR, Print & Travel category team to deliver first class value for the business and protect it from risk. Using your Procurement skills, you will work with a Procurement Manager to develop and implement sourcing plans and activity (tenders, negotiations and in-contract benefits delivery) across a range of HR, Print & Travel contracts in a timely way that is compliant with business policy, process and guidelines.
You’ll support the Procurement Manager in the account management of internal customers serviced by the HR, Print & Travel, aiding understanding of their business drivers and needs in the context of the company strategy, recommending how they can be most effectively met.
You’ll be required to contribute to the development and implementation of the HR, Print & Travel Category Strategy in order to meet internal customers’ needs and deliver first class value for the business.
Working collaboratively with other members of the procurement team, you’ll make most effective use of the resources available across the procurement functions through a ‘pooled resource’ way of working.
