Assisting with the preparation monthly management accounts
Preparing balance sheets reconciliation
Complete quarterly VAT returns
Raising sales invoices and debt collection
Assist with the preparation of cash flow
Contribute to the delivery of year-end financial statements and corporation tax process
Prepare departmental reporting and variance analysis partnering with teams across the business to understand costs and performance and drive collective insight
Involvement in projects aimed at driving growth and improving processes
Supporting the Financial Controller
Support and Cover for the Assistant Accountant
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
ACA / ACCA or equivalent, qualified or part qualified
Excellent communication and team working skills
Startup mindset and works well in small teams
Experience using an accounts software would be desirable, we currently use Xero
