A fantastic career opportunity for a qualified actuary with quantitative and risk management skills to join a major global consultancy at the cutting-edge of climate risk management.

In this key role, you will assist in the dialogue on climate and sustainable finance with client project sponsors, fully managing expectations of delivery, content, timescales and cost.

You will also support the development of net zero metrics, carbon measurement and strategy in investments and underwriting, transition risk and physical risk evaluation and modelling.

In addition, you will help address market wide challenges such as embedding climate change and planning and stress testing, climate scenario evaluation and broader risk management framework.

The successful candidate will have experience in the development and implementation of well thought-out climate risk and/or risk management solutions, ideally gained within an insurer or bank.

You will also possess experience of at least one of the following: sustainable finance in insurance; climate stress testing; cat modelling; exposure management; pricing in relation to climate; credit risk modelling; and risk frameworks for insurers.
