Job Description
- Responsible for financial accounting activities across key directorates in the organization and for the trading subsidiary companies
- Preparation of financial accounts for all relevant entities and management of the external audit process
- Update and review accounting policies and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements within the charity sector
- Collaborate with other members of the Financial Accounting team to ensure the delivery of all statutory reporting and year end processes across the organization
- Answer questions posed by the external Auditors and work closely with relevant finance staff and key stakeholders to ensure all technical papers are delivered with all the required accounting standards
- Working with the Finance Business Partnering team to support and advise departments on appropriate and the required accounting treatments
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- The successful accountant will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA qualified accountant with significant post qualified experience.
