Job Description
  • Manage bookkeeping services so that they are provided to clients in an accurate and timely manner
  • Develop an ongoing, effective relationship with clients
  • Address client/accounting problems or issues by researching solutions on a need’s basis and if necessary, liaise with other departments
  • Prepare payment runs
  • Cover staff absences on clients’ assignments, including attendance at client’s premises when necessary
  • Reconciling and balancing of all accounts
  • Prepare quarterly and annual VAT returns
  • Ad-hoc duties outlined by the manager

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline
  • AAT qualified (desirable)
  • Ideally, previous professional practice experience
  • Solid understanding of accounting software
  • Good knowledge of VAT law and compliance
  • Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
  • Reliable, organized and a true team player
