Job Description

You will assist the Region Head Accountant France with the preparation and analysis of monthly accounts for French and Swiss companies to Trial Balance.

• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations 
• Preparation and submission of journals together with journal backup for approval
• Maintenance of fixed assets register 
• Provision of supplementary schedules as required for monthly/quarterly reporting.
• Adherence to 3D Systems policies and procedures. 
• Ad hoc Operational and Finance requests
• Preparation and submission of internal and external audit tasks 
• Preparation and submission of statutory/statistical reporting requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Completed or studying towards a degree or other relevant qualification in Finance (such as ACCA, CIMA etc.)
• Accounting experience to Trial Balance, with a minimum 2-3 year's experience at a similar level 
• Experience with French local accounting practice, protocol, systems and agencies
• Strong French language skills 
• Hands on ERP experience
• Strong Excel skills 
• Good communication skills
• Good team player 
• Good problem-solving skills
• Good organization and planning ability 
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Experience working with Oracle 
• Experience working with Accounts Payable/Receivable
• Experience working with internal/external auditors 
• Experience working for a US parent company in a multinational environment
