Job Description

• Full responsibility for managing the end-to-end operational finance function; including financial reporting, accounts payable and receivables, treasury, compliance and tax
• Leading a team of two direct reports, ensuring their professional development and the performance of the team
• Producing monthly management accounts and reporting
• Support on investor/board reporting
• Leading the Group audit
• Managing tax including RnD submissions, VAT returns and CT returns
• Responsibility for statutory and tax compliance in the UK, Malta and the United States
• Managing external relationships with advisors such as auditors and service providers
• Business partnering with other teams across the business
• Other ad hoc administrative duties as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Previous experience in an in-house finance role, preferably in a fast paced start-up environment
• Experience managing a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience making use of technology to build efficient financial processes
• An all-rounder with a 'hands on' mentality
• Ability to operate independently
