Job Description

My client is currently looking to recruit a first time audit mover to join their growing team within a financial accounting role. This is an exciting opportunity for ambitious candidates to join a high growth PLC client and play a vital part in the production of year-end statutory accounts, improving processes and liaising with auditors among other key duties.
This role includes the following duties:

• Producing year-end statutory accounts in line with relevant reporting standards
• Liaising with external auditors during year-end
• Business partnering with key stakeholders but within finance and the wider business
• Working with the Finance business systems team in collecting and analyzing data in an efficient way to be used in the
• preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments calculations and reconciliations
• Collaborate with the revenue accountants in developing and maintaining royalty calculation models
• Responsibility over fixed asset accounting ensuring adherence to the company fixed asset policy and applicable IFRS standards
• Interpretation of accounting standards, preparation of impact assessments/technical accounting memos
• Ad-Hoc Duties

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• ACA/ICAEW/ACCA Fully Qualified
• Strong Excel Skills
• Top 20 Audit Practice Background
• Strong experience in auditing PLC clients
• Advanced knowledge of IFRS reporting standards including IFRS 15 and 16
• Strong communication skills
