Job Description

We have established a vision for our Operations Transformation practice to be a market leader -winning and executing iconic projects. Our focus will be on delivering Cost Transformation, Process Excellence, Productivity & Ways of Working and Intelligent Operations (automation, workflow orchestration and advanced analytics).

Key responsibilities

  • Senior oversight and delivery of multiple client engagements from initiation to end deliverables and beyond. This includes initial scoping and planning, establishing and managing skilled teams and delivery of client benefits through outputs and deliverables
  • Support the Operations transformation leadership team in the sale of projects to our clients with a particular focus on the Banking and Capital Markets industry
  • Go-to-market planning, account target plans and deal origination for priority clients and accounts
  • Senior client stakeholder management and commercial management of complex transformation consulting engagements
  • Lead on project proposals, developing new business opportunities and selling work
  • Contribute to the overall development and growth of our practice through supporting recruitment and training, coaching team members and enhancing our delivery assets and methodologies

Developed solutions to operational challenges utilizing significant knowledge and expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Strategic cost reduction, cost analysis, business case development, initiative development and delivery.
  • Productivity analysis, team coaching and ways of working improvement.
  • Process discovery, analytics, excellence and optimization techniques and technologies (e.g., robotic process automation, digital tooling, workflow, etc.).
  • Shared Service Centre’s / Outsourcing strategy, implementation planning, execution and run
  • Solid and articulate report, proposal and article writing skills to communicate company viewpoints on breaking news and technical publications
  • A track record of coaching and developing team members with an interest in helping to build a community
  • Senior client stakeholder management and commercial management experience in complex transformation consulting engagements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Extensive consulting experience in delivering operational transformation engagements for financial services clients within the Banking and Capital Markets sector with a focus on cost transformation, productivity, process excellence, operating model design and intelligent operations.
  • Experience, knowledge and networks within the Banking and Capital Markets industry, with proven excellent interpersonal skills and networking ability to develop and nurture contacts
  • A primary background in consulting or advisory roles, with a track record in Banking and Capital Markets Operations transformation
  • Deep Banking and Capital Markets industry insights
  • Demonstrable experience leading complex client programmes in Operations delivering tangible client benefits
  • An established client network and market recognition for work undertaken
  • Leadership in developing propositions / shaping solutions based on clear understanding of client needs
  • Strong track record of being able to deliver +£2m in sales year on year
  • Ability to lead self and others and develop a community of strategic problem solvers in Operations transformation
