Job Description
  • Revenue Recognition
  • Co-ordinate completion of Bank Reconciliations
  • Co-ordinate completion of VAT Reconciliations
  • Administration for Bank Reconciliation and Task Management system globally
  • Assist the monthly update to balance sheet reconciliation system
  • As and when additional processes moved into Central Accounting, lead the initial process and drive efficiency to fit the team model
  • Primary approver for reconciliations and month end tasks for processes responsible for
  • Secondary approver for reconciliations and month end tasks for the teams other Senior Accountant
  • Assist preparation of statutory account packs for financial controllers
  • Identify and suggest process improvements
  • Lead and deliver some projects as well as leading the weekly project meeting
  • Line management of 2 junior team members, with coaching support to the wider team
  • Build strong relationships across Operational Finance
  • Promote the work of R2R within Finance

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualified or Part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • 3+ years' experience in a finance function
  • Advanced Excel skills (Experience building in-depth financial models, VBA)
  • Experience working in a global organization
  • Able to challenge established ways of working
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Comfortable dealing with financial and operating systems
  • Ability to leverage knowledge from working in different areas of Finance to deliver best practice
  • Excellent attention to detail, commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Enthusiastic, hands-on and proactive
