Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
Analysing financial information and producing reports
Budget variance analysis
Preparation of quarterly VAT figures for VAT returns
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Reconciliation of ledgers
Responsibility for forecasting including profit and loss and cash flow
Balance sheet reconciliations
Credit control
Supporting the wider finance team
Supporting with payroll as and when required
Profile
Candidates wishing apply to the role should have:
Previously worked in a similar finance or accounts based role
Excellent computer literacy including a good systems knowledge
Excellent communication skills
Working towards an accountancy qualification such as AAT, ACCA, CIMA, etc. (desirable, not essential)
Knowledge of payroll procedures (desirable, not essential)
