Job Description
  • Partner with colleagues across the bank to provide relevant financial solutions to Financial Sponsor clients
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Financial Sponsor clients’ evolving portfolios, and assist in the development of information tools designed to increase Santander’s potential to win advisory business
  • Lead and bring teams together to create Corporate Finance ideas and content to enhance client dialogue
  • Engage with senior management and decision makers to maximize client objectives and facilitate robust risk and regulatory governance
  • Deploy excellent client engagement and origination skills
  • Act as a product expert within internal and external contexts.
  • Maintain excellent internal and external networks as the basis for delivering productive outcomes
  • Effective business and process management
  • Actively develop people
  • Take responsibility for own self development
  • Proactively assist senior management in running and the wider business

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A Degree (or equivalent), preferably in a numerical discipline
  • CISI Qualification or similar
  • Fluency in English
  • Other linguistic capabilities including spoken and written Spanish and/ or Portuguese or other languages
  • Extensive and relevant experience in Corporate and Investment Banking division and / or a reputable Financial Institution
  • Prior experience of People Management
