Job Description

 You will augment our existing team, with responsibility in a number of different areas.

You will:

• Prepare accounting approach memos and responses to technical accounting developments
• Provide insight and critique of new customer contract proposals in relation to compliance with IFRS 15
• Assist in the management of the year-end audit process, assisting with the management of the relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and others
• Prepare information for year-end audit and tax compliance purposes, including coordination with other finance team member, plus for the requirements of the potential forthcoming public listing
• Prepare group & subsidiary statutory accounts for UK entities
• Prepare and review month-end journals and contribution to preparation of monthly Board reporting deck
• Coordinate and oversee overseas offices compliance requirements
• Assist the Senior Finance Controller with ad-hoc tasks as required

• Significant experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of technical accounting standards relevant to Imagination – incl. IFRS 7, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IAS 7, IAS 37, IAS 36
• Recognized UK based accountancy qualification with chartered body (e.g. ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
• Knowledge and experience of US GAAP and SEC requirements
