Job Description
- Financial reporting:
- Own the delivery of board pack including consolidated monthly management accounts with analysis and commentaries
- Statutory reporting and tax work
- Point of contact for audit
- Process implementation:
- Support international expansion including setting up overseas entities
- Continually look to improve processes and controls, using technology where possible to automate
- Commercial Finance / FP&A:
- Lead on company-wide budgeting, forecasting and planning
- Financial and non-financial KPI analysis and reporting
- Support on future activities
- Team management:
- Lead a finance team consisting of 3 x qualified accountants, 1 x part qualified accountant and a transactional team of 3
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified accountant who has relevant PQE within a software company with an international group structure
- Technically strong
- Recognized Finance Lead / Director, who is a strong business partner to C Suite and Board
- Strong people management skills, including advising, challenging and influencing stakeholders
- Excellent team management skills, within proven experience of mentoring a finance team. Experienced with improving and where required re-building systems and processes
- Strong analytical, mathematical and data driven in approach, with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
