The Bookkeeper will look after a variety of client accounts supporting businesses to ensure that they are compliant, VAT ready, and all record keeping relating to sales and bought ledger is up to date.
There is some payroll work - supporting businesses to prepare small to medium weekly and monthly payroll runs accurately and on time.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong Excel users
Knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks and Sage would be ideal
Good communicators and will enjoy speaking to clients on the phone
Detail focused with ability to produce accurate work.
Experienced in a similar bookkeeping role recently
Qualified by experience and or possess AAT qualifications
Able to work in the office full time.
Ideally have experience working in a practice setting.
