Job Description
You will be seeking to progress in their career and build on their experience in this role predominantly handling the accounts, advisory and management reporting for a number of SME, OMB and other clients. You will have proven experience within a similar role and practical experience managing a portfolio and will be looking for a rewarding but challenging position. Your main task will include:
- Manage the accounting needs for a portfolio of clients; including bookkeeping, preparing management accounts, preparing and submitting VAT returns, preparing working papers for the statutory accounts.
- Proactively manage the onboarding of clients; defining scope of work, agreeing budgets with the Director/Partner, identifying VAT requirements and setting up the firm as agent for VAT purposes etc.
- Be responsible for the billing of clients on a timely basis, with input from the senior manager/partner.
