Role Purpose:
To provide a comprehensive, professional and efficient day to day HR Administration and support service to Bureau Veritas UK and Ireland.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Act as a professional first point of contact for all general HR enquires
* Act as a first point of contact for sickness absence notification by all employees, collation and logging of Statements of Fitness for Work (Fit Notes) and Return to Work forms, logging sickness absence records in Success Factors, manage and liaise with Payroll in relation to sick pay entitlement queries.
* Consider the employee in all engagements - offering first line support and promotion of Employee Assistance Program where this could be of benefit to individuals
* Capture and maintain accurate information in HR Systems (e.g. Success Factors)
* Provide accurate and timely data / information to Key Stakeholders throughout Bureau Veritas UK&I
* Maintain comprehensive and accurate HR records that demonstrate full compliance with Bureau Veritas procedures and applicable UK Legislation
* Develop processes and procedures as needed to ensure that all HR procedures are complied with and flag any opportunities for improvement and efficiency
* Administer the new starter on-boarding process, including offer letters, contracts of employments, issuing Corporate Induction invites and setting up new starters on Success Factors
* Administer any required Health Screening via approved provider for new starters (Engineer health checks are organised via Health & Safety team centrally, not in HR)
* Be responsible for Security Clearance checks for new starters (via our appointed screening provider) including: reference checking, identity and address verifications, Entitlement to Work and CRB checks
* Provide effective and pro-active support to the HR Advisors / HR Business Partners
* Maintaining paper-based and computerised records
* Pro-actively communicate with the wider HR team to make them aware of any issues affecting their divisions / business units
* Build effective working relationships with wider HR team and key customers within business units
* Produce statistical data relating to absenteeism, turnover and retention rates
* Support the delivery of ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives as required within agreed timescales
* Support and preparation for internal audits

* Delivery of accurate and timely management information
* Customer satisfaction and positive feedback from the business
* Full compliance with UK Employment Legislation and internal record keeping requirements
* Compliance with internal service level agreements and adherence to our internal policies
* Key Performance Indicators including accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced volume environment across multiple employee queries of differing topics.
