Financial Accountant
Full-time, Temporary
Job Description
- Manage the Accounts Assistant and be accountable for day-to-day management
- Credit control
- Responsibility for Credit control
- Directly manage the credit control for several key customers
- Responsibility for Brand and Supplier Payments
- Bi-Weekly update of the cash flow model
- Aiding the Head of Finance with the GB Management Accounts
- Preparing and producing the Monthly brand and customer reporting information
- Preparing the VAT returns for the business
- Responsibility for Wholesale sales reporting
- Responsibility for Bank reconciliation
- Responsibility for maintaining Customer Margins and Price files in Sage
- Creating adhoc reports for the business
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified or Nearly Qualified in ACCA/ CIMA/ACA
- Have experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Be able to demonstrate commercial acumen to make recommendations to the wider business
- Have experience working with non-finance stakeholders with an excellent ability to build relationships
- Accuracy and good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team and individually
- Self-starter
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
