Job Description

This position would suit a recent graduate with a relevant degree or someone who has an AAT Level qualification who is looking to continue with their studies and start their accountancy career within practice. The firm will provide full on-the-job training and will support you through the certified ACCA qualification during a 3-year training contract.
Role and responsibilities:

• Monthly review of clients' financial information, including tax calculations
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and submissions to HMRC
• Preparation of clients' year end accounts
• Submission of accounts and tax returns with HMRC and Companies House
• Resolving client queries and delivering excellent service

The practice is looking for a committed and dedicated candidate with an aptitude for figures and a passion to become a qualified accountant with the firm.

You will have a real interest in the accountancy sector and be keen to work in a performance-driven business. You will be able to work well in a successful and busy team, with excellent organizational, communication and IT skills, as well as a desire to learn and develop.
