Job Description

You will provide leadership and direction to the Baxterstorey team and be the lead relationship point of contact for the client for all catering services. You are responsible for creating and nurturing a culture of excellence that delivers on the provision of seamless service and supports our vision and values for the development of our people and business.
The Account Director will play a key role in shaping the strategy for driving services forward contributing to the wider real estate strategies, particularly working in partnership with the property management team to deliver change projects on the ground. This will also focus on optimizing occupancy, supporting wellbeing and driving forward the sustainability agenda.
You will work closely with the client and other service partners in the business, and as this role is highly visible, there will be an expectation for travel with some regularity to see teams and clients on the ground.

  • Overall responsibility for our contractual obligations in partnership with company, challenging and being the expert ensuring we are compliant with contractual commitments at all times
  • To build and retain a highly trusted relationship with our clients and partners, ensuring that we are proactively engaging, listening and promptly acting appropriately and consistently.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service and be able to demonstrate your analytical approach to problem solving
  • Possess great organization skills, exceptional communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • Full of energy and ideas that you can bring to our sites and our teams encouraging them to be involved and motivated
  • Have a successful progressive background in catering, hospitality, retail at the relevant level
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and be able to devise and implement strategies to benefit both the company and the client
  • Excellent understanding of report writing and financial management
