Job Description
In this pivotal role, you will lead the Finance Business Partner (FBP) team supporting the Fundraising, Marketing & Innovation (FMI) directorate to maximize fundraised income, enabling our critical services.
You will navigate complexities and matrix structures through effective stakeholder engagement, identifying opportunities to improve and change processes. As an inclusive leader, you will guide your team and deliver through others with a continuous improvement approach. You will influence and support the executive management team and trustee committees to make effective and informed decisions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You are CCAB qualified (CIPFA, CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or equivalent and have relevant post qualification experience. You are an experienced financial planning, reporting and performance management leader within a complex organization. You will likely have experience in fundraising and driving decisions through portfolio management, return on investment (ROI) or similar. You have a solid ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders and can establish trust and credibility at a senior level.
You can communicate complex financial information to individuals outside the finance function. You can balance attention to detail with a strategic outlook and have a continuous improvement mindset. You have experience in direct line management, leading through others and can role model Macmillan's values and behaviors. You are likely to be a qualified finance professional but what is more important to us is your desire to learn and develop continuously.
