Job Description

This position reports to the Overheads Finance Manager and will be assisting the company Software Group Finance department during a period of significant change and transformation. You will have a mix of responsibilities including the generation of overheads information for the company Software Group.
Currently the business is working across multiple systems due to a high level of acquisition activity and a key focus of this role will be to support the centralization of activity from the fragmented and dispersed teams across the UK.
This position is ideally suited to someone who likes to operate in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with change and is excellent at managing priorities and meeting deadlines.
What will you be doing?

  • Supporting the production of monthly overheads information through the timely closing of books and performing month-end actions.
  • Assisting with the completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for IRIS Capital.
  • Assisting with annual audit including preparing support schedules.
  • Supporting Group-wide systems transformation project with respect to our Management Accounting function.
  • Assisting with team deliverables, i.e. staff expenses, intercompany reconciliations, journal postings, etc.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Educated to GCSE grades C or above in Math and English.
  • Works effectively under pressure

  • General knowledge of how a Finance department runs and works (desirable).
