Job Description

This role offers hybrid working (3 days per week working from home) and an early finish on Fridays!

You must be on a short notice period or immediately available (1 week maximum). If you have 2+ years in a similar accounts assistant / assistant accountant position, you would be perfect for this position. Any experience using Oracle would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out Month End procedures including full reconciliations of accounts
  • Handling journal postings
  • Processing transactions in to accounting ledger including accruals and prepayments.
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Preparation of ad hoc recharges

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • General ledger accounting experience
  • Good excel skills (VLOOKUP / Pivot Tables)
  • Organized, reliable and a can-do attitude
  • Experience with accounting system – Oracle desirable but not essential
