In this role you will:
- Lead tracking, co-ordination of responses, and engagement strategies for public policy developments emerging from international financial institutions with a focus on financial stability and prudential topics but more broadly as required.
- Lead policy engagement with UK and global stakeholders on recent Basel reforms for Group Public Affairs, working collaboratively with businesses and functions.
- Lead policy engagement for Group Public Affairs on wider prudential regulatory topics, such as climate risk and capital, blended and productive finance, ring-fencing and bank capital buffers.
- Support senior executive engagement on regulatory matters with public officials and regulators.
- Maintain working level relationships with important trade associations and key public institutions.
- Represent the bank on global financial regulatory topics, and lead relationship management for the company with key trade associations and think-tanks.
