Key responsibilities:

As the client brand lead, work alongside the agency leadership team to make the relationship as strong as possible

  • Ensure agency excellence through creative deliverables and cross functional working practices. This will need you to balance the needs of the agency with the needs of the client
  • Be an inspiring and positive presence within the agency, able to motivate others to give their very best 
  • Manage your team by delegating tasks appropriately, using situational leadership to ensure everyone has a clear role and feels bought into the bigger picture
  • Assign and align resource needs with staff availability, strengths, and developmental needs to maintain project and staff efficiency across multiple teams
  • Deliver accurate forecasts and monthly projections, ensuring profitability, whilst proactively addressing the ongoing risks and opportunities of any account
  • Manage team dynamics and set an example of leadership to foster a high-performing team on existing clients as well as in new business scenarios
  • Engage in annual brand planning process to develop strategy and secure revenue for the upcoming year
  • Create a positive spirit and culture for your team members and your clients, so that all can flourish; and know the impact you have on your team
  • Help direct reports set realistic goals, and provide opportunities for goal attainment through on the job coaching and training
  • Drive organic growth and foster a business-building orientation on account teams to meet and exceed agency revenue forecasts and secure new business
  • Understand the impact of industry trends and reports, evaluate client research, and lead the deeper understanding of how those will impact clients’ and our business.
  • Identify and lead opportunities for new client business and new pitches

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Minimum of 8 years of agency experience, with existing experience at SAD level or above level a distinct advantage
  • Experience of leading client business and agency teams, ideally at regional and global levels
  • Experience of successfully of driving organic growth initiatives and leading new business pitch processes
  • Experience of helping to guide and implement omnichannel campaigns will be a distinct advantage
  • Fully proficient in all relevant software
  • Travel likely required (predominantly Europe)
