Job Description
You will be supporting the Finance Director in the day to day running of the Finance department with the plan to progress into the FD role in the foreseeable future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of the finance function and overseeing work duties of team members.
- Responsible for facilitating and ensuring budgetary control, making recommendations to encourage the continuous improvement of financial performance and implementing relevant policies within the business.
- Production of Financial and Management Accounts
- Provide analysis and insights with regards to commercial and operational performance as well as improvements within these areas
- Preparation of the monthly profit and loss accounts and balance sheet.
- Preparation and distribution of key daily and weekly management information to ensure effective business performance monitoring.
- Monthly production of comprehensive management Information pack with tracking of strategic KPIs.
- Management of working capital and cash flow within the business to agreed KPIs and targets.
- Ensure accurate and diligent control of costs within the business operating cost Centre’s and the profit and loss statement.
