Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner with Action for Children in Watford. Action for Children protects and supports children and young people, providing practical and emotional care and support, ensuring their voices are heard, and campaigning to bring lasting improvements to their lives. To help us achieve this, the role will:

• Lead and drive financial performance monitoring across company's business operations as required, to ensure the provision of high quality, consistent and effective service utilizing Action for Children's relevant policies and procedures.
• Lead on the production of accurate, timely financial information and review and report on the same in accordance with approved budget and Business Plan requirements.
• Develop financial models to support the charity's investment ambition including producing scenario models and funding options.
• Provide direction and understanding to recipients to enhance their financial acumen and utilization of the data.
• Develop and drive business owners towards improving the financial performance, reviewing and reporting regularly on actual performance, deliverable and budget performance.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

For this position, you must have a CCAB qualification or equivalent professionally qualified accountant
