Job Description

Wworking with a growing business to recruit a Financial Controller on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with proven experience of managing a small team and a track record of process improvements and innovations.
Responsibilities of the Financial Controller will include:

• Ensuring monthly reporting pack is delivered accurately and on time
• To improve the monthly reporting process through provision of analysis and supporting documentation
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Be the Finance lead, on implementation of a new Stock management system
• Management of the annual audit process
• Maintain intercompany ledgers
• To ensure that all balance sheet codes are regularly reconciled
• Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable, Payroll, Management Accounts and all other transactional accounting processes
• Ownership of Financial procedures and protocols with a view to not only implementation, but regular review and improvement
• Tracking of Capex and new site pre-opening spend to support the roll-out programme
• Management and development of the Finance team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Multi-site experience
• Excellent communications skills at all levels
• Budgeting and forecasting experience, preferably building integrated financial models
