This is an exciting opportunity to expand your experience and technical skillset in a household name. Working with the Tax Director who manages International and Indirect Taxes, you'll be tasked with being the lead advisor to the group in relation to all matters of Employment Tax.

Your responsibilities in this role:

• Be the tax adviser to the Group for employment tax matters, providing advice to the business
• Manage the communication with HMRC for employment duties and related taxes
• Share knowledge and experience with the Global Mobility team regarding short and long term overseas assignments, to ensure the business understands its global obligations
• Manage the delivery of the Short Term Business Visitor and PAYE Settlement Agreement returns
• Ensure robust controls, managing risk and governance
• Support in delivering training and/or ensuring colleagues are up to date with technical understanding

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Our client is looking for a Tax Professional who can demonstrate experience in the above areas, alongside holding a relevant tax qualification such as CTA, ATT or ACA with a Tax specialism. Given the role may be fairly stand alone, you will require strong initiative, have ownership of your day to day, be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
