In this job you'll play a key role in the Estates Finance team to provide 'best in class' support to the Estates Division on all matters financial. You'll support the Head of Estates Finance, provide guidance to other team members, work alongside Departmental Directors and Senior Stakeholders and colleagues within wider Finance to ensure the successful delivery of the Estates strategy and financial goals, development of budgets and forecasts, and monitor and report against actual results. You'll also play an important liaison role with the Central Finance Division and External Bodies ensuring full compliance with financial regulations.

To do this job you'll need to be a fully qualified accountant with experience of working in a Business Partnering role within a complex organization. You'll have experience of preparing budgets, forecasts, regular management reporting and KPIs within a large organization. You'll also have experience of delivering financial analysis and producing reports to non-finance staff, demonstrating measurable outcomes, and leading meetings with non-finance colleagues. If you have experience of working in Estates finance or higher education, have some team leadership experience, and have previously used Oracle, then that's useful.
