Job Description

This incumbent leads the Global Food Financial Planning and Analysis function as well as the financial support of several business areas.

• She/he leads the tracking, analyzing, challenging, reporting and communication of the Global Food and Nutrition business financial performance.
• This role also responsible for the segment shaping and planning, from the coordination and oversight of the shaping/planning process itself through to the setting up of value creation targets and the development of presentation of materials for senior stakeholders both internal and external to the segment.
• This role oversees the global overhead, demand and transformation finance business partnering.
• Member of the Finance Leadership Team responsible for developing and delivering the Food and Nutrition segment objectives.
• Provide financial guidance and leadership to that team and also to the segment LT to achieve respective operational and strategic goals and initiatives.
• Ownership of the segment IVCP (multi-year plan) and AEP (annual plan).
• Manages the Financial Planning and Analyses processes, including the Financial part of global S&OP+ process liaising with different functions and management.
• Ensuring financial plans are fully aligned to the strategic direction and aspirations of the business.
• Identifies, creates and presents the financial analysis that is necessary to measure the financial results and guide future business decisions.
• This includes monthly and quarterly financial packages to track trends and performance of sales, costs, expenses and other critical metrics.
• Guides and represent the segment in the development and implementation of process and master data improvements in collaboration with other segments FP&A leads / central Finance teams to ensure financial processes are effective and efficient, fitting with FOT objectives.
• Ensures the delivery of the global food overheads ambition, from setting targets to tracking progress and ensuring the right actions are in place to deliver.
• Support Global demand teams and the Reinvention Office (transformation)
• Effectively lead, support and develop the Global FP&A team of ~5. Select, engage and develop Associates to achieve their maximum potential and optimize contribution to the company objectives.
• Lead the global Food FP&A community.
• Represent segment and participate to our FP&A community.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Master’s degree (MBA in USA)
• 10+ years of related business experience, including accounting and financial reporting and analysis
• Previous CFO experience is a plus
