Job Description
- Managing the UK team, reporting to the Global Director
- Carrying out a regionally appropriate strategy as defined by the Global company program
- Raising the profile of work across the financial sector, with specific focus on the environmental impact of financing on climate, water security, and forests-related issues
- Facilitating the internal and external capacity-building and consultation on broader environmental themes as they come online
- Representing the company program strategy, progress and actions to all UK team members
- Achieving annual financial targets for the UK company program
- Representing Global program at external events
- Utilizing knowledge and understanding of sustainable finance to further engage the broader capital markets
- Leading the regional UK Capital Markets program work to include:
- Cultivating UK account management capacity to maintain and develop strong relationships with current and prospective UK signatories, key investors, financial institutions and broader capital markets participants
- Organizing roadshows and roundtables with major financial institutions and investors
- Working with other programmatic teams in collaborative projects and activities to achieveoverall strategic plan
- Maintaining and strengthening relationships with other key stakeholders such as NGOs, academics, and consultants.
