  • Engage with overseas teams, setting timetable and coordinating financial information to effect the group consolidation
  • Prepare and review the consolidated group accounts and other relevant group subsidiaries where appropriate
  • Liaise with auditors to achieve effective sign-off
  • Provide finance oversight for new projects and portfolios, including integration, User Acceptance Testing coordination where needed
  • Provide in depth analysis of the result on a monthly basis, to support shareholder and internal reporting.
  • Support and review the preparation of Solvency II Pillar III quarterly and annual quantitative reporting templates for the regulated group
  • Review, challenge and report on the performance of key finance controls and key risk indicators.
  • Maintain and oversee development of the group's general ledger for new projects, portfolios and optimization of processes
  • Oversight of technical accounting for the group and provide support to other group companies
  • Review and write technical accounting papers for review by the FD, CFO, Board and external audit
  • Develop and administer the groups accounting manual
  • Where required provide senior technical accounting support to other group companies
  • Continually assess, test and challenge finance department processes, accounting policies and strategies to ensure ongoing improvements and success are embedded within the teams
