We are supporting a company’s Specialty Insurance/Reinsurance Broker recruit for a Head of FP&A to join their London based Finance department.

Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of the P&L including all operating and non-operating items.
• Production of KPIs, value-add analysis and identification of potential efficiencies.
• Act as a Commercial Partner with Business Unit leaders and Heads of Operations.
• Supervise and review all financial including monthly, quarterly and annual commentary.
• Manage internal and external Financial Reporting.
• Responsibility for the Budgeting and Forecasting process.
• Responsible for the financial aspects of the business’ UK planning process.
• Working with Business Units to evaluate new business opportunities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with over ten years’ experience in FP&A positions in the London, Lloyd’s and/or General Insurance markets.
• Experience in structured reporting in a deadline/results driven environment.
• Significant experience in Financial Analysis, Modelling and Reporting.
• Track record of collaborating and business partnering with senior stakeholders.
• Team Management/Supervisory experience.
