Job Description
- Preparation of month end Profit and Loss Accounts for four divisions, ensuring revenues and costs are accurately stated.
- Producing month end pack, which provide key financial analysis
- Assisting finance team in all aspects of the preparation, including posting journals, running reports, posting monthly packs
- Performing month end and quarter end balance sheet reconciliations for all relevant accounts and providing detailed explanations for any variances
- Prepare statements of earnings and costs
- Assisting in the year end statutory audit as required
- Provide assistance and support where required during the annual budget process
- Review of the forecast submitted by Commercial Finance team
- Work closely with the relevant Commercial Directors and Analyst to better understand actual and forecast data, providing assistance and support where required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Part qualified in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent accountancy qualification.
- Industry experience in preparation of management accounts.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Solid time management and organization skills
- Knowledge or experience with financial accounting software
- Good knowledge of a finance function and commercial/business understanding
