Job Description

I am currently working exclusively with a leading digital media agency that are seeking to hire a proactive and business focused Commercial Financial Controller to head up the head office finance function and work closely with the Global CFO. You will be a qualified accountant with experience in the Media industry, who is looking to join a growing business where they can add value.

The Commercial Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing commercial financial operations of head office, project accounting and business partnering with the commercial heads of the business. You will assist in managing the head office budget and ensure that financial reporting information is accurately measured. The Financial Controller will also be tasked with developing and streamlining reporting and systems within the company.

Duties

• Overseeing the management of the finance function
• Consult with several teams within company to assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting.
• Communicate with external stakeholders
• Prepare annual budgets
• Oversee monthly management accounts
• Accurate forecasting of trends within the company to assist with budget setting and future planning
• Support commercial and finance strategy
• Lead FP&A activities
• Ad-hoc duties and projects to support Directors

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Experience with media industry or business that bill time
• Strong business partnering skills
• Strong management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Commercial minded
