Job Description

The firm is searching for a Qualified Audit Senior to join their team based from their Milton Keynes offices in a role with clear progression and development potential on offer. You will be responsible for leading audits for owner-managed businesses, large corporate clients across varying industries sectors and turnovers, along with not for profit, charities, academies and other clients. Alongside this you will have significant opportunity for involvement in accounts, wider services and advisory / project work as you develop and progress within this firm, with a clear route to progress into management and beyond. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• ACA/ ACCA qualified (or equivalent), although part-qualified with relevant experience will also be considered
• Statutory audit experience, gained in a public practice environment, ideally including experience of group audits and preparing consolidated financial statements, but not essential
• Full, clean driving license, plus unrestricted access to a car (which must be insured to cover business use and the transport of passengers)
• Organized and able to plan time efficiently in order to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently, or as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and discreet in demonstrating client care
• Experience in using automated audit software and computer based accounts and tax compilation programmes; plus advanced MS Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
