Job Description

Our client, a leading business with a strong reputation in its market are looking to add a Treasury manager to the team on a permanent basis. This role will certainly evolve over time and the chosen candidate will be comfortable with a degree of change and have an appetite for future growth. This position has materialized due to an internal promotion.
In this role, you will have a broad and varied remit which will include all aspects of the day to day running of the Treasury function. The Treasury Manager will champion robust financial controls over cash and supervise the cash flow out the business. 
Key Duties:-
 

  • Responsible for the preparation of bank account reconciliations on a timely basis and that all transactions are accounted for correctly.
  • To ensure timely payments, posting of receipts and card transaction reconciliations, allocate payments and investigate any queries accurately on a timely basis and any discrepancies resolved.
  • Reviewing all payments outside BACS run to ensure no duplicate payments
  • Business partnering with various teams to implement cash procedures to allow proactive rather than reactive approach.
  • Responsible for the Group's Balance sheet reconciliation for period end.
  • Ensuring all debt interest payments and finance lease payments are accurately accounted for and duly paid.
  • Review and sign off monthly cash flow statement in the management accounts. Ensuring the reconciliation between the direct and indirect cash flow is fully understood.
  • Responsible for the preparation of the weekly 12 week cash forecast ensuring key data inputs and assumptions are aligned with the FP&A and Accounts Payable team. Seek to continuously improve the forecast to drive forecast accuracy.
  • Issue the weekly cash forecast report documenting key assumptions, changes vs. prior forecast and make recommendations to manage performance vs. cash targets as appropriate.

Hybrid working is also in place with circa 3 days in the office and 2 from home.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in line with the above, though this can also be seen as a step up and you will have the chance to develop internally.
