Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Management Accountant with 1-2 years experience in Finance to join their team. The role has opened up following the acquiring of a new contract increasing workloads significantly. This is a permanent role and will be reporting directly into the Senior Management Accountant. You will be expected to have some exposure to Transactional Finance, Month End, and have practical Double Entry Bookkeeping experience and understanding of Debits and Credits.

General duties for the Junior Management Accountant will involve:

• Production of Management Accounts 
• Working on P&Ls across multiple global locations
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations 
• Month End Reporting
• Ensuring Deadlines are met and maintained 
• Assisting with Year-End Audits

This Junior Management Accountant role is based in St. Albans and the salary is £23,000 - £25,000 plus company specific benefits

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Have a proven background in Finance and making use of double-entry although Management Accounting experience isn’t necessary 
• Be driven and hungry to succeed
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Be self-dependent and take ownership of their role.
• Strong Excel skills
