Finance Manager

Job Description

You will report to the Managing Director and manage two people in finance. This is a hands-on position.
Duties will include:

  • Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information.
  • Sales and purchase ledgers
  • Journals
  • Month-end closing
  • Year-end
  • Annual auditing
  • Preparing financial reports.
  • VAT reconciliation
  • Manage internal financial controls and provide quarterly forecast updates
  • Ensuring that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards
  • Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information

You will have the opportunity to go permanent and see how your contribution leads to the businesses progression.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will ideally be a qualified accountant, who enjoys working in an SME environment. Experience of working with German accounts would be an advantage. You will be able to multi-task and ideally have worked with Sage Line 200.
