Job Description

The post holder will have responsibility for managing up to 10 FTE and the staffing budgets of up to £500k and will provide financial management advice to service managers with budget responsibility of up to £200m. The post holder will proactively lead the financial advice and support within Business Partnering with reference to delivering savings and maximizing service outcomes to residents.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• CCAB qualified accountant with CIPFA preferred
• Experience in a Local Authority Finance environment in a similar role
• Experienced in business partnering and providing financial advice to senior management
• Great interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
