Job Description
  •  Accounting, Tax and Administrative Support to Clients
  • On boarding clients
  • Incorporating companies
  • Registering companies for VAT and PAYE and Corporation Tax
  • Liaising with clients via telephone, e-mail and post
  • Processing PAYE and VAT returns
  • Processing of client payroll
  •  Pensions processing and reconciliation
  • Bank and Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Enacting Credit control for clients
  •  Assisting with Management Information preparation for clients
  • Adhering to all filing deadlines - which includes chasing clients for missing information
  • Meeting deadlines, such as the clearing of e-mails and post daily
  • Communicating with HMRC on behalf of the client
  • Answer and field calls
  • Assist with Accounting Administrative duties

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent telephone manner - this is essential
  •  Excellent level of literacy, written communication and analytical skills
  •  Excellent level of numeracy and commercial judgement
  •  Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Accountancy or tax experience from accounting practice is highly preferable
  • Experience utilizing Sage 50 Accounts/Sage 50 Payroll
  •  Maintains meticulous attention to detail
  •  Able to multi-task and priorities
  • Self-starter and motivated to succeed
  • Positive 'can do’ attitude
  •  Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Hard working, diligent and conciseness
