Job Description
The role is to be the point of contact for all financial operations of the business. Lead, drive, implement best practices and integration of new systems, controls and processes, adding value across financial control and streamline. Full financial responsibility, for month quarter and year end accounting, monthly reporting of financials P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, risk and operations, against a rigorous plan, Audit, governance, and compliance - establish, maintain and test financial processes to satisfy audits and achieve financial performance indicators debtor, cash management and payment processes.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Graduate, qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with at least 5-8 years previous experience of working in a fee generating environment such as accounting firm, with exposure to legal clients or a surveyors, architects or law firm. Well presented, confident and outgoing, comfortable leading from the front and driving processes and controls. Comfortable challenging 'how things are done', and familiarity with solicitor’s rules. Mentoring and managing a small team, to achieve goals and targets, a strong problem solver with an eye for detail.
