Playing a pivotal role in the finance team, you will be seeking ways to improve and maintain the financial system and business processes as the company works towards IPO. This is an exciting challenge that requires an experienced Financial Controller with a creative mind to establish sound financial practices ensuring the company complies with accounting and tax requirements.
Main Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day financial accounting function for newly formed holding company
• The design and execution of key financial controls
• Provide financial insight into business activities
• Oversee daily accounting and monthly consolidated management accounts
• Review & identify areas of improvement in financial processes, controls & reporting
• Review and challenge financial performance information
• Manage cash flow and banking activities across multiple currencies
• Support and guide on preparation of annual budgets
• Prepare annual audit file for presentation to the company's auditors
• Responsibility for tax compliance, incl. UK VAT, corporation tax, PAYE settlements and other taxes
• Support ad hoc activities as requested

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must be a qualified ACA, ACCA with recent experience in a UK listed company
• Experience implementing processes and controls
• Knowledge and understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP
• Demonstrable experience of being able to build relationships across all levels
• Able to think on your feet and adapt quickly
• Excellent experience using Excel for analysis and forecasting
