Job Description

In order to assist with the production and preparation of the monthly management accounts for their Italian markets, they wish to recruit an Italian speaking Accountant. Your role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

• Preparation and analysis of monthly accounts for Italian companies to Trial Balance
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintenance of Italian fixed asset register
• Preparation of Italian Monthly VAT & Intrastate Returns
• Ensuring Italian finance complies with Sarbanes Oxley.
• Provision of supplementary schedules as required for monthly/quarterly reporting
• Ad hoc Operational & Finance requests

SALARY & BENEFITS
£45,000 - £47,000 + 10% company & personal bonus + and superb benefits ( 25 days holiday , Private Medical Insurance paid for employee, Income Protection, Life Assurance, Employer contributory pension , Annual bonus – performance and company based 4% of salary after eligibility)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Fluent Italian is essential
• Accounting qualification - completed or studying towards a degree or other relevant qualification in Finance (such as ACCA, CIMA etc.)
• Italian Accounting experience to Trial Balance, with a minimum 3 years’ experience at a similar level
• Italian business knowledge
• Hands on ERP experience.
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience working with Oracle - advantage but not essential
• Experience working with internal/external auditors
• Experience working for a US parent company in a multinational environment
