Job Description

You will be required to work alongside the Directors within the business assisting in the development and growth of the business. The Financial Controller will organize all of the day-to-day financial running, with tasks including data entry, bank reconciliations, management of accounts payable and receivables, producing monthly and annual management accounts, creating and tracking progress on P&L forecasts, job costing and budgets and more. The role will also include an element of office and administration management.

  • Managing accounts payable including data entry
  • Managing accounts receivable
  • Liaising with team members to discuss progress on job costing
  • Creating budgets and forecasts
  • Payroll
  • Submit PAYE and VAT to HMRC
  • Bookkeeping on Xero
  • Debt control within credit terms
  • Year-end accounts preparation
  • Office and team management

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous experience in a Finance Controller position or worked within a Practice
  • Good working knowledge of Xero and excel required
