Job Description

We are looking for a positive and adaptive team member to join the Finance department as a Junior Finance Controller. The role will be to assist the Finance Manager in the execution of daily tasks, monitoring and reporting activities, and helping to improve financial processes and controls. The Junior Finance Controller will be strongly supported in their role, receiving appropriate training and working side by side with an experienced Finance Manager.

• Supporting the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth running of the financial activities
• Assisting in completing daily CASS reconciliations
• Assisting in preparing business and financial analysis
• Performing Actual vs. Budget analysis
• Assisting in producing revenue monthly reports
• Processing invoices and payments
• Providing assistance in the preparation of annual statutory accounts
• Reconciling the general ledger (i.e. bank accounts) and maintaining appropriate records
• Preparing and posting recurring journals
• Providing assistance with external auditors as required
• Assisting in the provision of reporting to the Management and the Board of Directors
• Liaising with Group Finance Department
• Any other duties that given by the Finance Manager

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred
• 1-3 years of professional experience gained within the financial industry
• Knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and UK regulations
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
