Job Description

We are looking for a Financial Administrator to join our Accounts Payable team due to an internal move. This role will be to review invoice queries and update our internal system to manage any adjustments. Unblocking and analysis of debit and credit memos will also fall under the responsibility for this role.

The ideal candidate will have basic accounting knowledge, SAP experience is desirable and good working level of excel. Ideally having experience of working in an Accounts Payable team and a self-starter with the ability to take the initiative and work pro-actively.

Role Specifics

• Manage adjustments for invoice queries relating.
• These include vehicle end dates changes, end milage changes, damage charges, sales proceed values and early termination changes.
• Monitor and resolve customer and supplier requests relating to manual invoices and credit notes within agreed SLA.
• Determine the action required, general ledger coding and obtain sign-off.
• Analyze root causes and work with the business to resolve and share best practice.
• Provide continuous business support and training for the adhoc billing process. Work collaboratively with key departments such as Customer Service & Quality, Dealer Engagement,  Team and End of contracts.
• Always look for areas of improvements whether this be business change or system change.
• Provide cover and support to the AP Accountant for the balance sheet reconciliations.
• Work with the AP Executives to investigate and amend and coding errors.
• Provide cover and support to the AP Accountant in the clearing of the manual and system recharge balance sheets.
• Investigate any differences and take corrective action to ensure the entries are cleared within the agreed timeline.
