Job Description

You will support the Global Corporate Finance team within Treasury in its core objectives around all external debt and capital market financing activity for the Group. You will be responsible for managing existing debt exposure and will take the lead in the origination and execution of a wide variety of debt financing transactions (refinancing, acquisition financing, new debt raising and structuring new debt instruments including early stage venture financings, infrastructure financings, securitizations, trade payable financings and vendor financings). The role will entail building strong relationships internally (Treasury, Legal, M&A, Accounting, Financial Planning, Tax, IR and Ventures) as well as externally (relationship banks, rating agencies, investors).

What will you be doing?

  • Contributing to group financial strategy to maintain 4 to 5x OCF leverage - continue to refinance ahead of the curve with the aim of optimizing borrowing costs and maximizing average life across the funding pools
  • Optimizing sources and longevity of all debt financing instruments, including all new types and potential sources of financing
  • Working with M&A on core acquisitions including structuring and negotiating all related financing needs
  • Working with Financial Operations on the origination and execution of operational finance initiatives
  • Maintaining key bank, fund and bondholder relationships and contribute to public debt investor relations strategy
  • Contributing to rating agency relationships for the Group

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Very strong relevant work experience (Investment Banking, Private Equity, High Yield Corporate)
  • Broad corporate finance, leveraged finance, capital markets, structured finance, legal and accounting knowledge
  • Experience in managing leveraged loan and HY bond refinancing’s and acquisition financings – from origination to execution
  • Proven relationship and leadership skills (banks, investors, rating agencies)
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and complex project management skills
  • Comfortable in a fast pace international environment with desire/ability to travel
