Job Description

Our client are an emerging AR company looking to break into the wider EMEA market. They have brought a brand-new twist on the way that AR can be used by businesses to generate more interaction and exposure. This is a brand-new role that will report directly into the CFO and provide insight into the measures that are in place to make the business successful.

In this role you will work extremely closely with the CFO to create and develop processes and controls that will help to streamline the business. Our client’s CFO is highly impressive and hand on so will provide ample opportunities for you to learn.

Duties and responsibilities of the job include:

• Manage all accounting operations including transactional finance, Core Accounting and Revenue Recognition 
• Prepare timely monthly financial statements
• Preparation of regulatory reporting 
• Resolution of technical accounting issues for compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process 
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with local reporting requirements and tax filings 
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Additional controller duties as necessary

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required 
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
• 3+ years’ experience 
• XERO knowledge
• High level Excel skills (proficiency with VBA - beneficial)
